		<description>Unfortunately not - as far as I know, without access to Xbox Live, there are only two ways to obtain the necessary files for backwards compatibility.

1.) Download the update via Xbox.com, burn it to disc and install it on your 360.

2.) Order a backward compatibility disc direct from Microsoft. (They may or may not still be doing this - I seem to remember attempting to get a disc from them about 2 years ago from the provided link and finding that the page no longer works.)

Finally if you do know someone nearby who has a fast connection, you could have them download the file (It&#039;s only 12.6mb, so it&#039;s not a huge inconvenience to them) and burn it to disc for you.
