IT’S BUNGIE DAY!!! - FREE XBOX 360 THEME AND GAMERPICS
Today is July 7th, 2007 - a day that most media outlets tell me is supposed to be the luckiest day of the century. Well, I don’t know about that, since apparently my version of “getting lucky” was oversleeping until 3:30pm, but I’m sure someone out there is having a great time.
The point of the matter is that for no actual reason, Bungie has declared today Bungie Day and made some gifts available for today and today only. Now that I’ve got your attention, those gifts take the form of a special Halo 3 theme and gamerpic set available to Xbox 360 owners via the Xbox Live Marketplace. As I stated before, these freebies will be taken down at the end of the day, so donwload them now or lose out forever.

Don’t mind the mess (or extremely old posts) - This site is just a backup for NYLatenite’s Gamer’s Paradise - (also known as nylatenite.com) - for more recent posts head on over to the official site at www.nylatenite.com. Thanks!
Here’s what you need to know about this wonderful little site that I call home…
This site is entirely based on the personal opinions of the editorial staff, internet reports, conjecture, rumors, and blatant idiocy. In no way should any report, news item, picture or description on this site ever be taken as 100 percent factual. To put it simply, if you think the 10 minutes of research I may do into a specific subject is enough for you to take something as reported at face value, you need to get your head examined.
As implied by the statement above, information on this website can, and probably will, contain numerous inaccuracies and as such should never be used to make any kind of an informed decision on a subject. Seriously. The nature of news on the internet and the business of reporting on rumors, ommissions and, let’s call it what it is, wild-ass guessing should never be mistaken as 100 percent accurate. While all attempts are made to report things as accurately as we can, things are always going to get missed or misunderstood in the shuffle.
In short, take everything on this site as what it is - news being reported by someone who is a fan of the video game industry, but who has no connections to the game industry or related businesses.
If you’ve seen something you feel is inaccurate or misinterperated, feel free to drop us a line at nylatenite@yahoo.com to let us know the truth of the matter. Thank you.

Does ANYONE know how to get artwork on XBL Gamer pics. I believe it’s one of the best places to market a new video game title or upcoming movie. With my new movie in production, I want to get a jumpstart on this. I’m getting the run around at xbox…..does anyone know someone directly.
Thanks,

Unfortunately, my guess would be that you have to either convince Microsoft that it’s in their financial best interests (if the pics are going to carry a price tag) or pay them for the free advertisement (in the event that you’re looking to give the pics away as a promo)
My best advice would be to try and find a sympathetic ear inside their marketing department - and be prepared to back your proposal with raw data, not just marketing hype.
