LATENITE’S BLOG – COUNTING THE GENERATIONS

I was over at Gamer’s Lounge, the gaming forums I frequent most often, and the question of what the proper way to count the different generations of video game consoles came up. I thought a bit on that and then did some research around, and found that there seem to be three schools of thought on this. While I personally subscribe to the idea that we’re in the 5th generation of modern gaming, others may not agree quite as quickly.
